Hi everyone!
Last week I was lucky enough to have my gorgeous friend Johanna Allen visit me here in NYC. She is a dear friend and a fiercely talented lady who I met performing alongside in WICKED. We spent many hours chatting and laughing, then on our last coffee (well, hot choccy) date, Johanna surprised me with the most luscious bunch of roses! For. No. Reason. What a gal!

They were so huge that I was able to split them into THREE different vases and placed them throughout my whole apartment. Every time I look at them, they make me so so happy. Which got me thinking, we don’t need to spend a fortune on making our homes look pretty, a simple bouquet of flowers brightens up any room and bring such joy!
On a completely different note, when I started this blog I knew nothing about photography. So in recent months, I’ve decided to try and teach myself a few tricks in an effort to take more beautiful and stylized photos.
My husband bought me a “good” camera for Christmas and in full disclosure, I have no idea how to use 95% of the features. BUT, I’m getting a handle of the other 5%. You gotta celebrate the small stuff right?
I’m also fiddling with the watermark on my photos. I love my new logo so much, however I think it is the wrong shape for a watermark. What do you think? Would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section below.
I’ve asked my friend Kristin (who designed my logo) to mock something up for my watermark that includes my website address too. Would love to hear your thoughts on my watermark, or any advice photography you can offer!
Hope you are all having a lovely week:)
Penny xo
