This week I bought an old side table for $25, with the aim of bringing it back to life using by painting with milk paint! I am going to use Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint.
It’s screaming for a make-over right?
Milk paint comes in powdered form, you just need to add water and mix thoroughly to create the paint. It is super easy to apply and you don’t need to do any prep work to the wood before applying. Not even sanding!

I have made a little step-by-step video to show you how I did it, though you will need to excuse the messy apartment as we have only just moved in and I’m collecting bits of furniture to store all our things – hence the side table!

This was my first time painting with milk paint and it was so easy and I was thrilled with the final results! I highly recommend trying it, there is not much you can stuff up… trust me:) What do you think of the finished product?
